Iris Reprise began when two friends who met in the Landscape Architecture program at the University of Georgia.

We spent our college years in studio together, learning how to draw and design. But more importantly, we learned how to really look at the world around us. We became interested in the stories held by places we visited and the way thoughtful design can shape the way we experience them.

Our interests eventually took us in different directions but the things we loved about design stayed with us, and so did our friendship.

In many ways Iris Reprise is where our interests meet.

Isabella looks to the past. Rosie thinks about what comes next.

We both believe there is value in slowing down and being thoughtful about the things we make and the things we keep. We're drawn to objects with a sense of history and designs that feel like they could have belonged to another time while still feeling right at home today.

Iris Reprise is our way of exploring those ideas.

We create things that encourage you to write a letter. To save a recipe. To notice the details. To give something a little more meaning simply because you took the time to make it special.

Our time studying landscape architecture taught us that good design can create a sense of place.

We hope to bring that same feeling to Iris Reprise.
